WOOD PRESERVING DIVISION

Our Wood Preserving Division has been in operation since 1945, beginning with yellow pine utility poles. Today, Langdale Forest Products operates two technologically advanced wood preserving facilities located in Valdosta, Georgia and Sweetwater, Tennessee. These facilities produce accurate treatments and retentions for efficient and economical production.

Pressure Treated Lumber

EPA approved CCA type C oxide formula

  • State-of-the-art computer controlled pressure vessels
  • Ensures proper preservation

Following treatment:

  • Each batch sampled to confirm it meets or exceeds American Wood Preservers Association (AWPA) requirements
  • Third Party Inspection
  • Monitored by independent agency
  • Independent agency inspected by American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC)
